Cody's Physical Therapy Continues

Cody moved to a new foster home mid May - his foster "mom", a college student had to move and her new schedule would not allow her to continue caring for Cody and help him with his needed physical therapy.  Luckily another family stepped up to help Cody.

Cody is now living in a home in Northern VA and is deep into his physical therapy routine which began mid May.  He has been making steady progress.

Cody has also adjusted well to his move to another home.

The only dark cloud is the continued problem of finding funding to pay for Cody's therapy.  So far, the bill is close to $300 and we expect that Cody will need a least a month more of weekly therapy sessions.

Please consider making a donation to help fund Cody's recovery.  A heartfelt thank you to all those who have helped by contributing to the fund to pay for Cody's very expensive but needed surgery.   You can donate by clicking on the Chip In widget on this blog or contact me at LoisLHT@yahoo.com.  THANK YOU!

Catching up with Cody - all good news!

Cody had his surgery this winter and it went really well. Unfortunately, his physical therapy got off to a slow start. But now that Cody is with a new foster, he is on a regular therapy schedule and making great strides. He already has improved his range of motion and his gaining strength in his leg.

Only one thing is holding Cody back and that is $ - we are still working to raise a little bit more money to cover the cost of his therapy.

If you can spare a little to help Cody by making a tax deductible contribution to Homeward Trails in Cody's name, we all would be so grateful!
